Welcome to the LeicesterShire Volunteer Centres homepage.
This website has been produced by the LeicesterShire Volunteer Centres Network working across Leicester and Leicestershire.
We all provide the same volunteering services within the areas that we serve and we work together to promote volunteering across the whole of LeicesterShire.
Our services include:
- Helping people who are thinking about volunteering to find a voluntary role that meets their needs, interests, skills and available times.
- Supporting individuals during their voluntary activity.
- Providing volunteers for organisations and community groups through advertising their opportunities and recommending people who are interested in them.
- Supporting volunteer involving organisations and groups in developing and maintaining good practice in their relationships with volunteers through formal and informal advice and printed guides.
- Advising and supporting employers who wish to begin or develop employee volunteering activities.
- Working with a wide variety of organisations and groups in the voluntary, public and private sectors to develop new opportunities for volunteering.
